Orpheus possessed a gift unlike any other. When he played, men listened, animals gathered and even the natural world seemed to move with his music.

When Eurydice died, grief led him beyond the world of the living. He descended into the Underworld and played before Hades and Persephone, moving even the rulers of the dead.

He was allowed to bring Eurydice home on one condition: he must not look back until they had both returned to the light.
